FBK Legal at the Thirteenth Tax Forum Held by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Galina Akchurina, Mikhail Golovanev and Natalia Ryabova, Lawyers at FBK Legal, took part in the Thirteenth All-Russian Tax Forum held by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
Galina Akchurina, Partner and Head of Tax Litigation Practice at FBK, presented a report titled “Price Control in Uncontrolled Transactions” at the roundtable on transfer pricing. She spoke about price revision criteria and identification of unreasonable tax benefits related to determination of actual tax liabilities.
Mikhail Golovanev, Manager of Tax Litigation Practice, presented a report titled “Intercompany Financing and Business Structuring” at the same roundtable. He named the main tax claims related to business structuring and explained the process of legal precedent setting using various cases as examples.
Natalia Ryabova, Senior Manager of Tax Consulting Practice, presented a report titled “The Main Budget, Tax and Customs Policy Trends up to 2020: Impetus for Stability” at the roundtable “Relevant Issues of Indirect Taxation” and pointed out the gaps in regulation of excises imposed on straight-run gasoline and determination of tax resident status for individual income tax purposes and suggested ways how to eliminate them.
This traditional annual forum was attended by the management of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Tax Service, leading Russian tax lawyers and representatives of law firms.
