Deputy Director of Department of FBK’s Banking Audit, Roman Kenigsberg spoke at the Round-Table of Association of Russian Banks

On February 16, 2011 Association of Russian Banks arranged a round-table Renaissance or Stagnation: What is Happening at the Moment on the Bank Lending Market arranged by National Banking Magazine. Within the session the experts discussed what prevents from sound recovery of crediting process in post-crisis period and what measures should be taken to activate banking lending.

FBK was represented at the event by the Deputy Director of Banking Audit Department, Roman Kenigsberg. He noted that in post-crisis period banks have to revise their development strategy associated with excessive liquidity and lack of loan borrowers. “More attention should be given to the audited financial statements of loan borrowers”, the expert is sure. Besides, according to Roman Kenigsberg, bankers should express more patriotism in their policy. “Bankers should make their input into recovery of Russian economy and support local business, producers. Then no problems with loan borrowers shall occur”, the expert concluded.
