FBK GT About Disclosure of Climate-related Risks

FBK Grant Thornton has held a webinar titled “Disclosure of Impact of Climate-related Risks in Financial Statements of Credit Institutions”.

Maya Savitskaya, a Manager of the Department of Assurance and Advisory to Financial Institutions, started the webinar by speaking about the trends set by the Bank of Russia in its report “Impact of Climate-related Risks and Sustainable Development of the Financial Sector of the Russian Federation”.

Then Partner Vladimir Skobarev explained how the impact of climate-related risks is disclosed in financial statements of banks based on the recommendations given by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

In her turn, Anastasia Terekhina, an Associate Director of the Department of Assurance and Advisory to Financial Institutions, commented on how the impact of climate-related risks is reported by credit institutions in their IFRS financial statements.
