Russia took the 176th place in terms of economy growth in crisis — FBK

FBK analysts drew up a rating of successfulness of overcoming the global crisis by different countries. On the grounds of IMF data, the most critical for the global economy year 2009, the world’s economies went through differently (see rating in Russian). Among the leaders was China where GDP in 2009 made 9,1%, Afganistan (+22,5%), East Timor (+11,6%), Ethiopia (+9,9%) and Azerbaijan (+9,3%). On the whole, economies of 94 countries notwithstanding economic crisis demonstrated positive dynamics. Generally in 2009 the global economy “fell in”, according to IMF data by 2%. Russia with GDP recession in 2009 amounting to 7,9% turned to be in 176th place in the rating.
