Vladimir started his career at FBK in 2004 as an intern of the department of assurance and audit for metals companies. As a partner, he is now in charge of audit services to small and medium businesses.
His professional career may be divided into several stages.
From 2004 to 2014, he developed basic professional skills in the field of accounting and audit and learnt about the operation of industrial enterprises across Russia by auditing financial statements prepared under Russian accounting standards for metals and mining vertically integrated groups with well-organised accounting systems.
Since 2014, he has been expanding FBK’s customer base with various small and medium businesses (trade, logistics, production, scientific research) by offering audit and related services with different financial reporting frameworks (Russian accounting standards, IFRS, US GAAP, HGB, special purpose frameworks) and different standards (audits, reviews, agreed-upon procedures).
He supervises his team members by setting the tone while providing professional services and coordinates various departments inside FBK being the single point of contact for clients who want to learn more about FBK and benefit from high-quality accounting, tax and legal, valuation and transaction advisory, cybersecurity, sustainability and engineering services.
His area of interest is the application of the principal-agent concepts in financial statements, which became the research topic of his PhD thesis, and professional consulting services to freight transportation logistics companies.
