Experience

Extensive experience in legal support during negotiations with tax authorities, including assistance with tax audits, preparation of well-reasoned and documented client positions, and client representation before tax authorities and in courts.
Supervising consulting projects related to Russian taxation and settlement of tax disputes at both pre-trial and litigation stages. Participation in 300+ disputes with outcomes favouring the taxpayer.
Clients include top foreign and Russian trade, manufacturing, transportation, pharmaceutical and finance companies, as well as financial and credit institutions, high-tech and telecom companies.
Participation in working groups of the Russian Federal Tax Service, the Foreign Investment Advisory Council (FIAC) in Russia, and other bodies focused on improving tax law and enforcement practices.
Designs and delivers specialised tax law courses at the Higher School of Economics and Kutafin Moscow State Law University.
Author of numerous publications in the media and professional journals, including Tax Litigation and Legal Insight.
