His professional journey has evolved through several distinct stages.
From 2004 to 2014, Vladimir developed core professional skills in the field of accounting and audit and gained valuable insights into the operation of industrial enterprises across Russia by auditing financial statements prepared under Russian accounting standards for metals and mining vertically integrated groups with established accounting systems.
Since 2014, he has been expanding FBK’s customer base with various small and medium businesses (trade, logistics, production, and R&D) by delivering audit and related services featuring varied financial reporting frameworks (Russian accounting standards, IFRS Accounting Standards, and special purpose frameworks) and multiple assurance standards (audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures).
He coordinates his team workflows and cross-departmental collaboration by setting the tone when providing professional services and serving as a single point of contact for clients seeking to learn more about FBK and benefit from high-quality accounting, tax and legal, valuation and transaction advisory, cybersecurity, sustainability and engineering services.
Vladimir’s area of interest is the application of principal-agent concepts in financial reporting, which became the subject of his 2010 PhD thesis, and professional advisory services to freight transportation logistics companies.
