In 2025, FBK celebrates a double anniversary – 35 years since its founding and 30 years since 44 Myasnitskaya Street became its headquarters. The building, whose history dates back to the 17th century, has always been a magnet for entrepreneurs and artists. Just like centuries ago, business, culture, and traditions are closely intertwined under the roof of this historic mansion — now under the auspices of FBK.
The courtyard on Myasnitskaya Street was granted by Peter I to L.K. Naryshkin, where the stone Chambers of the ‘Tsar's relatives’ were erected. It is not known exactly when they were built or who the architect was, but the influence of European culture is perceptible – reflected in a new architectural style drawing on the expressive arsenal of Baroque. The Naryshkin Chambers were aligned with the urban planning norms of the first half of the 18th century, built along the street’s red line.
The estate had many owners: G.F. Vishnevsky, P.Y. Golitsyn, F.V. Novosiltsov, A.V. Urusov and his son Alexander, P.N. Buturlina, N.M. Arsenyeva, F.E. Belousov, the Kharitonovs, the von Mercks, N.D. Stakheev, and K.F. Takhtamirov.
The mansion is known today by the romantic name ‘The House of Three Composers’. The touring Franz Liszt, who visited Moscow in 1843, stayed at the Arsenyevs’, whose cultural salons were attended by A.S. Pushkin, P.Y. Chaadayev and other notable figures. When N.F. von Meck became the owner of the house, P.I. Tchaikovsky was a frequent guest and Claude Debussy taught music to Nadezhda Filaretovna’s daughters.
The architectural foundation – two floors, vaulted ceilings on both levels, thick walls, an interior layout with two equally grand enfilades, and a formal hall with a fireplace – has been preserved for over three centuries.
Since 1995, the building is home to FBK audit and consulting company. The careful and tactful restoration work carried out in the late 1990s brought the mansion back to its historical appearance.

For several years, we have been collecting books about the street where the estate is located, its renowned owners, and the works of its celebrated guests.
We recommend that you start your acquaintance with the history of the house with the book ‘44 Myasnitskaya St: Twenty Tales from the History of the House’ by Tatiana Dudina. Central to the collection are sheet music publications used as a tribute to the great composers who were once visitors of the mansion.
A detailed account of the books can be found at the link.
