FBK Vice-President Irina Sukhova has spoken at the Global Entrepreneurship Week held in St. Petersburg.

During the panel discussion titled “Creator of the Future or Roadside Businessman – Your Choice” which opened the Philanthropist Day Irina Sukhova pointed out corporate charity opportunities available for businesses.

As an example she spoke about FBK charity work, including cooperation with charity funds, free legal advice, charity auctions, fairs and sports events, fundraising and donation of clothes to those in need. In addition, FBK Grant Thornton pays a lot of attention to sustainability issues and takes efforts to assist Russian companies in sustainable development by providing a range of sustainability services.

“Multi-format nature of charity work is not only the key to any company’s success in corporate social responsibility but also a source of internal growth for modern business,” Irina Sukhova said.

In 2017 the Philanthropist Day was held within the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Week for the first time. It included a panel discussion, several presentations and workshops and a photography exhibition dedicated to philanthropic dynasties. The event was aimed to share experience, create and strengthen communities and promote philanthropy in the business environment.
