Conference ‘IFRS and Management Accounting-2023: Year-End Closing, Getting Ready for 2024’ took place on 29 November – 1 December. The first day of the conference was held offline, bringing together more than 70 people. On the second and the third day, the event was also available for online participation. The speakers presented their reports on changes in taxation, accounting for frozen assets, reporting of excess profit tax, analysing fair value of trademarks, etc. The agenda was very packed, and the attendees stayed until late in the evening.
"This platform managed to bring together representatives of various industries and sectors, allowing us to share our opinions on the most pressing accounting topics. It was really impressive how involved the attendees were during the interactive section, and how happy they were to share their opinions and experience with the rest of the audience. It was a very packed agenda, the attendees stayed until late in the evening. I believe that this warm atmosphere and new knowledge are exactly what we need to solve any issues related to year-end closing," noted Ksenia Shirikova, FCCA, FBK’s Partner.
"FBK Group has been co-hosting the IFRS and Management Accounting Conference for a few years now. The Sixteenth Conference attracted a record number of attendees and a unique speaker panel, including representatives of the regulator, the stock exchange, major credit institutions, as well as representatives of consulting companies. The attendees raised the hottest topics we have today and discussed multiple issues. While they’re looking back on the Sixteenth Conference reviewing relevant materials, we have already started working on the next conference in May, which will be just as intense and fascinating!" Anastasia Terekhina, FBK’s Partner, said.
The next conference will be held on 29 – 31 May 2024, stay tuned for further announcements!
