FBK at RAEX

FBK Grant Thornton's Partner Vladimir Skobarev has participated in the Fifteenth Annual RAEX Conference “Annual Report. Best Practices and New Standards”.

He spoke about the results of the 35th session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting that had taken place at the end of October 2018 at the Palais des Nations, in Geneva. Experts discussed core indicators for company reporting towards the attainment of the SDGs developed by UNCTAD.

“The results of the pilot projects to apply these indicators will be discussed in Geneva in one year. It is important that Russian companies take part in such projects,” FBK’s Partner said.

Conference attendees leant about the results of the annual competition of annual reports held by RAEX and listened to top experts who shared their opinions on the main problems and trends in annual reporting.

The competition of annual reports has been held by RAEX for 19 years. It has become a platform for the discussion of the main trends in the content and design of annual reports. Over 550 largest Russian and CIS companies have taken part in the competition over the years of the project implementation.
