FBK at Russian Business Week Held by Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs

FBK Partner Igor Nikolaev spoke about his opinion on tax burden in the Russian economy at the tax forum held as part of the Ninth Russian Business Week arranged by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

According to Igor Nikolaev, the current tax burden is excessive and should be decreased as soon as possible, though all indications suggest that in the years ahead it will be only increasing.

“The increase in the tax burden in the time of crisis and stagnating development prevents the Russian economy from transition to sustainable economic growth,” said Igor Nikolaev.

 The Russian Business Week is a key event which participants discuss and make suggestions on relevant issues of cooperation between government and business.
