FBK at the Meeting of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Committee on Corporate and Social Responsibility

Vladimir Skobarev, Partner at FBK Grant Thornton, has participated in the extended meeting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility and Demographic Policies titled “Responsible Business and Public Non-Financial Reporting: Sustainable Development Goals”.

Vladimir Skobarev has presented a report “Enhancing Comparability of Sustainability Reporting: Selection of Core Indicators for Company Reporting on the Contribution towards the Attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals”. This topic was discussed at the thirty-fourth session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting held in Geneva in the early November.

“It is necessary to coordinate approaches to determination of minimum requirements to non-financial reporting in Russia and international requirements.  And Russia should participate in making important decisions for development of public non-financial reporting,” FBK Partner said. 

The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is an All-Russian organisation which protects the interests of business community both in Russia and abroad. The Russian Union operates through two legal entities with different legal status, namely an All-Russian association of employers and an All-Russian non-governmental organisation.
