FBK at the National Champions event

Roman Kenigsberg, Head of Risk management practice, took part as expert at the National Champions project.

One of the sessions devoted to models of accelerated growth of export activities for seven high-tech companies brought together guest experts to evaluate the level of sophistication of the models, propose possible improvements. Many high-tech players face the typical challenges outlined during the session. Proposed solutions may be widely applied in a variety of sectors to boost non-resource export.

“This forum is a unique place which brings together all stakeholders, including suppliers’ top management, innovative products consumers, relevant industry-specific officials and professionals, which aims to boost chances to find best possible solutions right there and then during face-to-face discussion,” Roman Kenigsberg noted.

The National Champions projects aims to support private high-tech leading players. It was established in 2016 by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development in association with the Russian Venture Company Fund of venture funds. Eligible companies are high-tech entities with a high export potential and a strong revenue growth rate awarded with a TechUp rating. At present the list of the National Champion project winners includes 30 companies with revenues from 1-30 bln roubles. Mechanisms of state support as well as strategies of the project participants are being further developed to encourage the eligible companies’ sustained growth well into the future and ensure the achievement of the project targets.
