FBK Cybersecurity Becomes Best at Urban.Tech Moscow

“Our efforts will be beneficial for everybody who lives in Moscow as financial application and service security is crucial in the digitalization age,” says Mikhail Firstov, Head of the Research Lab at FBK Cybersecurity. His team has won Urban.Tech Moscow arranged by Moscow Government to "search for vulnerabilities and assess security of the new digital financial application".

Mikhail points out that they managed to detect many more and less critical vulnerabilities in the financial application. Developers had not been aware of certain security issues and promptly eliminated them when informed.

Urban.Tech Moscow is a large-scale international programme for young professionals in the field of information technologies. Each participant will be able to find a team of like-minded people, create a software product and raise their own business, which will be beneficial for Moscow and its residents.
