FBK Grant Thornton About Bank Account Freezing

Anastasia Terekhina and Nellya Gafurova, FBK Grant Thornton’s experts from the Department of Assurance and Advisory to Financial Institutions, have participated in the 10th Practical Conference “Efficient Group Management”.

At the session dedicated to bank financial monitoring, they discussed when banks can freeze accounts held by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, what steps to take and which actions to avoid in that situation.

“We have offered practical advice for businesses to prevent account freezing. We also shared signs of questionable transactions and business rehabilitation methods. Freezing is still possible but now our clients know how to fight against it,” said Senior Expert Nellya Gafurova.
