FBK Grant Thornton About Corporate Responsibility to Future

FBK Grant Thornton’s Partner Vladimir Skobarev has spoken at the Eighth Environmental Forum “Corporate Responsibility to the Future. Technology for Society and Nature”.  

In his speech, he pointed out the significance of sustainability factors, including environmental ones, in financial statements.  He also paid special attention to recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). 

“Today, many international investors ask for the development and implementation of the methodology for climate-related risk assessment and reporting in financial statements,” Vladimir Skobarev said.

The forum also addressed such issues as environmental responsibility of big business, the balance between social and economic regional development and environmental protection, technology accessibility for adequate standard of living in industrial regions etc.

The Eco Forum was arranged by Norilsk Nickel, the Environmental Fund of the Siberian Federal University and the Scientific and Research Institute of Environmental Problems.
