FBK Grant Thornton’s Partner Vladimir Skobarev has participated in two events dedicated to sustainable development that were held at the United Nations Office in Geneva.

Together with the Head of the Social Policy Department in Nornickel Svetlana Ivchenko he presented an analytical report on the metallurgical company’s participation in the UNCTAD pilot project on the use of the Guidance on Core Indicators for Entity Reporting on Contribution Towards Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals at the 36th session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR 36).

“It can be stated based on ISAR 36 that the sustainability report prepared by Nornickel for 2018 demonstrated the company’s leadership in implementation of the UNCTAD core indicators as compared to other participants of the pilot project, which represented nine countries,” Vladimir Skobarev said.

In addition, Vladimir Skobarev attended the UNCTAD-ISAR Workshop: Practical implementation of climate-related financial disclosures and their relationship to the SDGs.
