FBK Grant Thornton at ESG Reporting Conference

On 6 December 2021, FBK Grant Thornton’s Partner Vladimir Skobarev participated in the All-Russian ESG Reporting Conference organised by AK&M, an information agency. The conference was attended by officials from government agencies, non-financial reporting experts, and representatives of development institutions, audit, consulting and research firms, Russian entities and banks, developers of IT platforms, educational institutions and rating agencies.

Vladimir Skobarev spoke about the current state and development prospects of ESG reporting regulations and standards.

“This year, in October-November top providers of international non-financial reporting standards made certain decisions to create a unified harmonised corporate reporting system. These decisions should be taken into account when developing a regulation system for public non-financial reporting in the Russian Federation,” says Vladimir Skobarev.
