FBK Grant Thornton at IFRS and Management Accounting Week

FBK Grant Thornton’s experts have taken part in the Twelfth Forum for Heads of IFRS and Corporate Reporting Departments.

Anastasia Terekhina, a Partner of FBK Grant Thornton, spoke about changes in IFRS Standards which will be applicable in interim financial statements for the six months ending 30 June 2021. Special attention was paid to the interest rate benchmark reform.

Kseniya Shirikova, the Associate Director of International Financial Reporting and Assurance, dedicated her speech to perpetual bonds and the reasons why global investors are so interested in perpetual instruments. She noted that all issuance terms, including guarantees from third parties, need to be thoroughly analysed to classify and report them under IFRSs.

Head of Practice Maksim Chikishev and Senior Expert Dmitriy Popov shared their insights into COVID-19, going concern, assessment of the situation and reporting.
