FBK Grant Thornton Auditors Receive Advanced Training

All certified auditors working for FBK Grant Thornton have received 40 hours of advanced training required by federal legislation. Training has been provided by FBK Economic and Law School (FBK ELS).

Annual advanced training is a necessary condition for extension of auditor qualification certificates which give the right to sign auditor’s reports. All auditors who hold qualification certificates are obliged to receive training at a specially accredited training centre under a self-regulatory organization of auditors (SRO) in which they hold membership.

FBK ELS is accredited under SRO AAS and IPA Russia and provides regular advanced training to professional auditors and accountants.

The Self-Regulatory Organization of Auditors Association “Sodruzhestvo” (SRO AAS) is a professional union of academic and practical experts in accounting, audit and economic analysis. SRO AAS approves advanced training programmes and control their implementation.

The Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Russia (IPA Russia) is the largest non-profit professional union of accountants and auditors in Russia.
