FBK Grant Thornton Delivers Training on GRI Standards

FBK Grant Thornton, the only GRI training partner in Russia, has delivered its first training under the new GRI programme “Integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals into Corporate Reporting”.

FBK Grant Thornton’s Partner Vladimir Skobarev says that the new topic was warmly welcomed by the audience,

“Leading Russian companies understand the importance of the actual integration of the SDGs into their reporting practice. Our teamwork at the seminar helped participants to learn new information and share ideas that will help them to make progress on the tasks related to non-financial reporting,” he says.

The one-day training course, which was based on the experience of leading Russian and international companies, addressed the integration of the UN SDGs into the companies’ strategies, operating activities and reporting process. Specialists from 15 companies, including Gazprom, Rosneft, Lukoil, Transneft, X5, OMK, Inter RAO, ALROSA, Medsi, Rosseti Centre, Rosseti North-West and other companies. After the course, the participants received a certificate of attendance issued by GRI.

GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) is an international organization, which provides frameworks and guidance on sustainability reporting.
