FBK Grant Thornton on European regional meeting: collaborate for strategic success

FBK top managers took part in the Grant Thornton International second regional meeting, hosted in Rome, Italy. Leaders from Europe and CIS engaged in insightful strategy workshops focused on member firms' and client experience.
FBK was represented at the meeting by
Sergey Shapiguzov, FBK President, Irina Sukhova, Vice President for corporate development, and Askold Birin, FBK Partner, International Financial Reporting and Assurance Director.
They participated in the seminars and workshops on strategic development and partnership, and Askold Birin made at the summit a presentation of FBK as the new member of the global network of Grant Thornton International.
According to Vice President for corporate development Irina Sukhova, the participation in the meeting of European Grant Thornton International member companies allowed FBK not only to tell the partner firms about ourselves, but also to understand the directions and principles of strategic development of the GTI corporate network, establish useful business contacts with representatives of the firms from Eastern Europe and the CIS.
The meeting that lasted for two days was attended by the representatives of partner companies from Central and Eastern Europe, CIS countries and Russia. Presentations were made by Gernot Hebestreit, global leader for business development and markets, Paul English, global head for marketing and communications, Sacha Romanavitch, CEO elect, Grant Thornton UK, Francesca Lagerberg, global leader for tax services, Sara Jane Knox, associate director for strategic development and growth (GTIL), Gurgen Hakobyan, member firm development leader for CIS (GTIL), Andrew Dickson, associate director for member firm development in Europe (GTIL); Herve Gohin, executive director for strategic development and growth (GTIL); and others.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session with Ed Nusbaum, global CEO, and Paul Raleigh, global leader for strategic growth and development.
