On 5 October, FBK Grant Thornton’s experts Vladimir Skobarev and Elena Pertseva presented findings of a global study prepared by Grant Thornton International on sustainability strategies of mid-market businesses at a meeting of the Sustainability, CSR and Socially Responsible Business Guild under the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). Anna Zolotorevskaya, the Chair of the MCCI Sustainability Guild acted as a moderator.
Representatives of the Global Compact Local Network, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Center-Invest Bank and others participated in the discussion dedicated to the findings of the study and sustainability issues relevant for SMEs.
“This study has confirmed that small and medium businesses are getting more and more involved in the sustainable development agenda and that it is important for big businesses to promote sustainability practices in their supply chains,” Vladimir Skobarev said.
