FBK Grant Thornton Replies to Questions About Securities Market

FBK Grant Thornton’s Department of Assurance and Advisory to Financial Institutions has arranged a webinar titled “Results of the Year 2020: Q&A for Professional Participants of the Securities Market”.

Manager Tatiana Kosakovich reminded the audience about changes in industry-specific accounting standards, in particular about new accounts in the chart of accounts and changes in notes to financial statements of non-credit financial institutions.

Senior Expert Dmitriy Popov spoke about the factors that need to be taken into account by non-credit financial institutions in respect of the recognition, treatment and reclassification of financial assets under IFRS 9.

At the end of the webinar, Head of Practice Maksim Chikishev answered questions from the audience about lease accounting under IFRS 16.
