FBK Grant Thornton to Audit St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange

The specialists of FBK Grant Thornton International Financial Reporting and Assurance will carry out the audit of the annual financial statements of St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange prepared in accordance with IFRS for 2014.
According to
Polina Sungurova, FBK Grant Thornton FRA Associate Director, it is not the first time for the auditors to hold the audit of SPIMEX reporting.
“The project turned out to be combined. On the Client’s request the audit procedures are carried out in parallel in accordance with the international auditing standards and the federal standards on auditing, which is in line with the practice of major organizers of trade in Russia. Our colleagues from the Assurance, Oil and Gas Sector, will audit the statements of the Exchange prepared in accordance with RAS,” noted

Closed joint stock company Saint-Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (CJSC SPIMEX) was established in 2008.Today it is the largest commodity exchange in Russia. They trade the cash commodities (spot market of oil products) and terminal contracts (futures on delivery, futures on stock indices, etc.).
