Vladimir Skobarev, a Partner at FBK Grant Thornton, has participated in the tenth practical conference titled “The Week of Internal Control and Audit in Russia. Business Continuity under New Circumstances”.
He spoke at the session dedicated to Russian and international best practices for business continuity and explained how internal audit can help to manage sustainable development of the company.
“Today it is more important than ever to involve internal audit specialists in the monitoring of sustainability management. This is in line with international standards on internal auditing and relevant for many challenges that companies are facing,” Vladimir Skobarev said.
The conference comprised eight sessions that covered various topics related to company operation amid global changes. Experts spoke about business rehabilitation, corporate restructuring and analysis of operational efficiency, new role of internal control, best practices for remote internal control and audit, analysis of the labour market and many other matters.
