The Department of Assurance and Advisory to Financial Institutions has arranged a webinar titled “Measurement of ECLs under IFRS 9 for Microfinance and Microlending Institutions. Is it Necessary to Revise the Methodology due to COVID-19?”.

Maksim Chikishev, the Head of Advisory to Insurance Companies, and Dmitriy Popov, a Senior Expert, spoke about the classification and measurement of financial assets, credit risks and allowances for expected credit losses, as well as requirements to disclosures in the financial statements.
