FBK GT Completes Project for Ministry of Finance of Belarus

FBK Grant Thornton’s consultants have completed the project for improving result-oriented program budgeting in Belarus financed by the World Bank.

According to Irina Dubinina, FBK Grant Thornton’s Partner and Director of Public Sector Advisory, comprehensive approaches and mechanisms developed by the consultants incorporate not only international best practices of public financial management but also specifics of the budgetary process in the Republic of Belarus.  

FBK Grant Thornton provided consulting services under the joint project of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus and the World Bank “The Public Financial Management Modernization in the Republic of Belarus”. The project is aimed to improve budget management rules and procedures, as well as to develop and implement a new integrated information system for public financial management.
