FBK GT Issues Digitally Signed Auditor’s Report for Novikombank

FBK Grant Thornton has issued the first Russian digitally signed auditor’s report for Novikombank.

Alexey Terekhov, the Vice-President for Assurance and Advisory to Financial Institutions at FBK Grant Thornton, says that speed is critical for efficiency nowadays. That is why electronic document flow is essential for all business processes to allow for immediate response to arising issues.

“The digital auditor’s report that we have signed follows many years of formalisation efforts and is a step into the future of the baking system,” Alexey Terekhov says and adds that the electronic signature solves certain problems that arise when sending large files containing a digital copy of financial statements to the regulator.  This method is not only quick but also provides for increased confidentiality of data exchange.
