Vladimir Skobarev, a Partner of FBK Grant Thornton and the Deputy Chair of the CSR and Sustainability Committee of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has moderated a meeting of the Committee dedicated to 17 Sustainable Development Goals and priorities of French companies.
Representatives of many French companies that operate in Russia took part in the meeting. Tatiana Krylova, the Head of the Enterprise Branch of the Division on Investment and Enterprise Development of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), made an opening speech. Representatives of Shneider Electric, Leroy Merlin and Servier shared their approaches to sustainable development.
“It was interesting for attendees of the meeting to compare sustainability approaches applied by the UN and common practices of French companies in Russia,” Vladimir Skobarev said.
