FBK GT’s New Partner to Take Charge of Assurance and Advisory Services to Leasing Companies

 Ildar Safiulin, an acknowledged expert in providing audit services to leasing companies, has joined FBK Grant Thornton as a partner. He will be in charge of assurance and advisory services to leasing companies.

For twenty years, Ildar has worked for EY in Russia, Uzbekistan and Belarus. He cooperated with VTB Leasing, VEB Leasing, Rossiysky Capital Bank, Uniastrum Bank and Uniastrum Leasing and provided services to trading, oil&gas and industrial enterprises. Companies for which he worked topped the RAEX ranking of leasing companies’ auditors many times.

“The leasing market will be reformed, which will change its structure and regulation. For example, leasing companies will be qualified as non-credit financial institutions and will be overseen by the Central Bank of Russia.
