Elena Starovoytova, Managing Partner at FBK, and Ksenia Shirikova, Senior Partner at FBK, FCCA, spoke at the event. Together they outlined the prospects for accounting regulation in Russia, as well as issues of applying RFAS 9/2025 ‘Income’ and RFAS 10/2026 ‘Expenses’. The seminar also dealt with the most challenging aspects of transitioning to the new IFRS 18 ‘Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements’, while focusing on the specifics of the Gazprom Energoholding Group entities.
‘We always welcome the opportunity to take part in events like this, as they allow us to discuss pressing financial reporting issues and share our professional take on them. Continuing our established practice, in the seminar we used modern interactive tools to engage the audience in the discussion and gather feedback on the topics covered. Special attention was paid to the practical aspects of the Gazprom Energoholding Group’s transition to IFRS 18 given the specifics of its operations, its reporting structure and the issues arising during the implementation of the new standard,’ noted Ksenia Shirikova.
The seminar brought together heads of accounting divisions from across the Gazprom Energoholding Group, including its sub-holdings: chief accountants and heads of divisions responsible for RAS and IFRS reporting.
