FBK Hosts Webinar on Implementation of GOST R 57580.3 and 57580.4 Standards for Financial Institutions

Aleksey Karpushkin, Head of IT Audit, and Mikhail Mantsurov, Senior IT Consultant, have hosted a webinar titled ‘New Standards 57580.3-2022 and 57580.4-2022 for Financial Institutions – Analysis and Step-by-Step Implementation Algorithm’. 

The speakers stressed that the Russian financial industry had been facing an increasing number of cyber threats, and discussed Bank of Russia’s regulatory policy on CyberSec standardization and operational reliability (cyber resilience), which resulted in two new national standards – GOST R 57580.3-2022 and GOST R 57580.4-2022. 

Mikhail Mantsurov outlined specifics of these standards and the main issues with their implementation, and offered detailed practical recommendations for gradual implementation of standard-specific measures. The attendees now have a step-by-step guide to implementing the standards based on a company's existing processes and resources.

“The suggested step-by-step algorithm will allow webinar attendees to optimize time and effort for the implementation of GOSTs, get their IT infrastructure under control and improve security and continuity of financial services for their clients," Mikhail Mantsurov believes.
