FBK Involved in UN Global Compact Local Network’s Survey

FBK Grant Thornton in cooperation with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Agency SGM were engaged by the UN Global Compact Local Network to conduct a survey of top Russian companies about their current and potential involvement in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During the session held to discuss the results of the survey FBK’s Partner Vladimir Skobarev underlined the importance of the UN SDGs integration in companies’ strategies. “The survey results show that it is a crucial task for many Russian companies to adapt the corporate governance system to the implementation of SDGs, manage related business risks and opportunities,” FBK’s Partner said.

The survey results will be used to identify business priorities and develop an agenda for the UN Global Compact Local Network.
