FBK is Implementing a TP Project for Gazprom Largest Gas Transportation Enterprise

Specialists of FBK Departments of Financial and Tax Consulting began to prepare the documentation on the controlled transactions of Gazprom Transgas Yugorsk, Gazprom subsidiary. FBK was selected by the contractor to execute the project based on the results of an open tender procedure.

According to Lyubov Staroverova, FBK Department of Financial Consulting director, the preparation of documentation on transfer pricing, beginning with the transactions for 2012, is the responsibility of the companies of the holdings having dependent or affiliated structures. According to the expert, the scope of the law is fairly wide, so the services of specialists on the controlled transactions are in great demand at the market today.

“The practice of TP laws usage in Russia has not yet taken its final shape, there are not so many specialists ready to formalize the documentation on controlled transactions. However, such documentation is required for proper planning of the tax burden on the enterprise, for reducing the tax risks,” says Lyubov Staroverova.


Gazprom Transgas Yugorsk is the largest gas transportation company of Gazprom that carries out the transportation of gas from the fields in Western Siberia to Europe. The length of Gazprom Transgas Yugorsk main pipelines is 1.5 thousand kilometers; the volume of gas transported daily is about 1.5 bn cubic meters.
