FBK Legal About Future of Legal Profession

FBK Legal’s Partner Alexander Ermolenko has participated in the main legal autumn event in Samara, Legal Day: Max.

In his speech about the future of the legal profession, he said that it depends in Russia on the specifics of the local legal system, rather than on the global trends.

“These specifics are not too beneficial for lawyers. The economy depends more and more on the government, the legal solutions are ignored and the legal services market is in stagnation. If we fail to make the law in demand again, the future is rather predictable and it does not look promising,” Alexander Ermolenko said.

The forum also covered such topics as the law firm management and special skills required for a successful lawyer. In addition, attendees discussed real-life cases related to bankruptcy, criminal liability for business owners, legal fees etc.
