FBK Legal in the Russian Legal Week in London

Dmitry Paramonov, FBK Legal, Tax Consulting Practice attorney at law, took part in the third annual Russian Legal Week in England.
That impressive legal forum was organized by the Bar Council that brings together the lawyers of England and Wales in partnership with the Legal Chamber of the Russian Federation, Moscow and St.-Petersburg Chambers of Lawyers and several other non-governmental lawyer organizations.
The key topics for the discussion at the meeting were the investment climate in Russia, de-offshoring, amendments in the Russian Civil Law, the merger of the Supreme Arbitration Court and the RF Supreme Court, the arbitration process in Russia, and a range of other issues.
Dmitry Paramonov spoke at the conference. He spoke about the impact of the de-offshore process on transactions carried out in the foreign jurisdictions and the taxation of such transactions.
The report elaborates on the procedure for profit keeping of controlled foreign companies, the profit tax calculation and payment of companies and income tax of individuals, as well as other topically important legislative changes introduced by the law on profit tax for foreign companies controlled by Russian tax residents.
