The forum participants, including officials from the Federal Chamber of Lawyers, the Federation Council and representatives from leading legal firms, discussed interaction and mutual influence between such vital social institutions as law and religion.
As explained by Alexander Ermolenko, philosophy of law which in this or that way was touched upon by most of the speakers, is fundamental for legal consciousness of people.
He went to add, “I wish this range of problems was more often in the limelight of the legal community’s discussions. It is also for this reason that our contribution to the forum was important.”
The “White Nights” Legal Forum is organized on the initiative of the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region under the aegis of the Federal Chamber of Lawyers of the Russian Federation.
