FBK Partner Vladimir Skobarev Receives Commendation from Organising Committee of National Award "Leaders of Responsible Business – 2024"

On 18 March, an official award ceremony for the National Award "Leaders of Responsible Business – 2024" was held in Moscow.

The National Award "Leaders of Responsible Business" was established in 2023 by order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Its goal is to promote responsible business practices, enhance corporate transparency through public non-financial reporting, strengthen business reputation, recognise companies’ contributions to societal development, and foster a favourable social and environmental landscape.

This year’s competition received 86 programs submitted by 33 companies.

The award ceremony took place during the 34th Congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Moscow.

Vladimir Skobarev, Partner and Head of Corporate Governance & Sustainability Services at FBK, is a member of the Award’s Expert Council. The Organising Committee expressed gratitude to him for his extensive work in evaluating applications from companies participating in the 2024 Award.

It is particularly noteworthy that companies are not merely declaring their social stances but are also providing transparent non-financial reporting to confirm tangible results of their activities. This fosters healthy competition and serves as an incentive for other companies to adopt best practices in responsible business conduct. I am confident that the Award will become a key tool for advancing corporate social responsibility in Russia and help establish new standards in business culture.”
