FBK Provides Independent Assurance of ESG Report Prepared by VimpelCom

The FBK audit and consulting group has provided independent assurance of the 2021 sustainability report prepared by VimpelCom (Beeline brand).

The report was issued in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) requirements to disclosure of key metrics for the telecommunications industry, as well as the Bank of Russia’s non-financial reporting guidelines.

“Independent assurance of a non-financial report is more than an important factor for its improvement and increased confidence in that instrument. Companies’ willingness to undergo assurance indicates that the ESG agenda and the sustainability topic remain key elements of corporate business strategies,” said Vladimir Skobarev, a Partner of the FBK audit and consulting group.
