FBK’s Consultants Hold a Seminar for Public Authorities in Belarus

Consultants of FBK’s Public Sector Advisory Department have held in Minsk their third seminar within the framework of the consulting services for improving result-oriented program budgeting in Belarus.

Officials of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus and other public authorities attended the seminar. FBK Grant Thornton’s consultants provided recommendations on the improvement of program classification and transition to public procurement financing.

“This year we have a record number of attendees, which is explained by the relevance of the seminar topic and the rising interest from public officials of Belarus in the events held by our firm,” said FBK’s Partner Irina Dubinina. She also expressed her hope that methodological approaches developed by FBK would be used by the specialists from Belarus to implement new forms of public service financing.
