FBK’s Consultants Win Summer Intellectual Cup 2023

A team of FBK’s consultants headed by the firm’s managing partner, Boris Yatsenko, has been recognised the best in the most intellectual company in the financial sector category of the Summer Intellectual Cup 2023. The winning team consisted of FBK’s employees — Artem Batyuk, Evgeniy Babanin, Olga Ignatyeva, Evgeniy Leonov, Oksana Mitroshina, Marina Skvortsova and Igor Churkin. That was just the second time that FBK’s consultants participated in the Intellectual Cup. In March, they won the silver among the most intellectual teams in the financial sector.   

“Of course, it’s not the winning but the taking part that counts. Because such competitions are, first of all, an instrument to build informal relationships among colleagues, the way to nurture them. Nevertheless, our new team had to compete with strong and experienced players. And we are particularly proud to win the gold in a struggle like that,” says FBK's Managing Partner Boris Yatsenko.

The first intellectual cup game was held on 7 October 2015. It had winners in two categories, the most intellectual bank and the most intellectual company in the financial sector. The third category, the most intellectual company in the oil and gas sector, was added the following year and the competition became what it is now. Twenty five teams took part in the Intellectual Cup 2023. The event was hosted by Mikhail Skipskiy, a famous participant of a Russian TV intellectual game show.
