FBK’s Economic and Law School made an IFRS workshop for Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Volga Joint-Stock Company

FBK’s Economic and Law School organized a workshop for employees of "Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Volga" JSC dedicated to the international financial reporting standards. Yelena Tyutyunnikova, Deputy Director of FBK’s International Accounting Department, and Roman Afonin, Manager of FBK’s International Accounting Department gave a detailed briefing on how financial statements should be formed, transformed and consolidated. They also told about potentials and prospects of the automation of the consolidated statements preparation process.

"Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Volga" JSC was founded in 2007 as part of the reformed RAO UES of Russia. The company operates in 7 regions which make a territory of 403 thousand square kilometers. Total length of the electricity transmission lines is more than 223 thousand kilometers. The company employs 21 thousand people
