Artem Batyuk, Analyst of the Transaction Advisory Department, Mikhail Plevo, Expert of the Department of Audit and Assurance for the Oil and Gas Sector, and Nikita Slepchenko, Specialist of the Corporate Governance and Sustainability Services Department, have participated in the final game of the third charity chess championship titled “I fight to the end!” Thirteen strongest chess players from different companies and banks took part in a Swiss-system tournament of five rounds. All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to help children in need.

“FBK as a member of the UN Global Compact Local Network focuses on supporting charity projects. And we certainly encourage our employees to participate in such projects in any format,” says HR Director Naida Akhmedkhanova. “Our corporate charity project, September of Kindness, that we arrange each autumn developed from our employees’ initiative and then grew into a firm-wide event, which demonstrates our staff involvement and empathy. We believe in kindness and cultivate it in our firm.”

The charity championship is organised by HB-Assistance. Its official partners are the Chess Federation of Russia, the Chess Federation of Moscow, idChess — a platform for recognising and streaming chess games, the Wellness Tourism Association, Mashuk Aqua-Therm Spa Resort and the Academy of Social Technologies.
