FBK’s Experts on Development Prospects of Metals and Mining Companies in Russia

The Gold and Technology journal has published an article titled “Metals and Mining Companies in Russia. Current Challenges and Development Prospects” by FBK’s Managing Partner Boris Yatsenko, and Valuation and Advisory Directors Sergey Shvets and Alexey Rodin.

The article analyses new challenges of the metals and mining industry in Russia in 2022 and their potential impact on its development prospects. Among the challenges, the authors name high volatility of the national currency, and the sanctions pressure, which made companies leave traditional markets, raised operating costs and complicated debt and equity borrowing. Nevertheless, the industry managed to keep its resilience.
