FBK’s Partner Anastasia Terekhina Participates in 10th Annual Insurance Business Forum

Anastasia Terekhina has spoken at the 10th Annual Insurance Business Forum titled “Challenges of the Year 2023”. Her presentation was dedicated to the transformation of the balance sheet and the profit and loss statement from industry-specific accounting standards to IFRS 17 and disclosure of IFRS application in group financial statements. This topic is relevant because of the replacement of IFRS 4 Insurance Contracts with IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts.

The Insurance Business Forum has been held since 2013. The event is intended for the heads of financial and accounting departments of financial sector companies, representatives of departments responsible for corporate financial reporting in accordance with Russian and international standards, as well as internal audit departments. This year, the forum focused on regulations and amendments to regulations of the Bank of Russia concerning the application of IFRS 17 and IFRS 9, changes in accounting rules and other relevant issues.
