FBK’s Partner, Igor Nikolaev joined the expert group for updating Strategy 2020

Partner, Director of FBK’s Strategic Analysis Department Igor Nikolaev joined the expert group №1 “New Economic Upturn Model. Providing Macroeconomic and Social Stability” for upgrading Strategy 2020.

The idea to amend the strategy was accepted by the government following the joint proposal to update the document made by the rector of the Higher School of Economics, Yaroslav Kuzminov and Head of Agricultural Academy and State Service, Vladimir Mau.

The amendments are to be developed by 21 expert groups: Tax Policy, Decreasing Inequality and Poverty Alleviation, Enhancing the State Presence and other groups. Among the principle fields of work of the groups is providing macroeconomic and social stability, transfer from inciting innovations to growth based upon them, providing competition and development of SME, enhancing quality of life, enhancing efficiency of disbursement of budgetary funds and enhancing interbudgetary relations.

The government will consider the work progress quarterly, in August they will listen to interim report, and in December — final report on results of studies.
