“The association members’ trust binds us to be more involved in the Local Network’s activities, use companies’ potential to promote the Global Compact Principles and assist in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals,” Vladimir Skobarev said.
The UN Global Compact is the world`s largest corporate sustainability initiative, a call to companies to align strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, an attempt to mobilize a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders. On the whole the UN Global Compact has more than 13,000 participants from 160 countries and more than 80 local networks.
