FBK specialists appraised the oil-and-gas assets of ALROSA

Specialists of FBK valuation department completed a long comprehensive project of appraising the four large oil-and-gas assets belonging to ALROSA diamond mining company: Ireljahneft, Geotransgaz, Urengoy Gas Company and ALROSA-Gaz.
The appraisal was used by ALROSA for the sale of the listed assets to Rosneft Oil Company, the largest in Russia.
The final stage of the project was the valuation of the package of ordinary registered non-documentary shares of ALROSA-Gaz to an amount of 99.9995%.

The project appraisal went through the agreement procedure of the self-regulatory organization of appraisers. Positive opinions were given in the result of the agreement procedure.
According to project manager Alexander Matyushin, FBK valuation department deputy director, Rosneft has sealed its leading position in the industry with the acquisition of ALROSA’s oil and gas assets, the diamond mining company has optimized its business through the sale of non-core assets, and FBK, within the framework of that deal, had an opportunity to apply their wide range of competences in the field of valuation.
